I LOVE it with a capitol L-O-V-E!
So I am reading New Moon again and can I admit something? The first time around I was a total Edward fan and I still am. But this time around I have totally fallen for Jacob in a not so appropriate way being that he is half my age. None the less, I find myself wanting Bella to be with him more right now. And then this trailer came out tonight, and I stand by my latest obsession of wanting Jacob more than Edward....I mean, wanting Jacob to be with Bella more than wanting Edward to be with Bella...for the time being at least :) Why can't she just be with them both? Only in a perfect world, I guess....

Hayden's Fun Game
Hayden and I have a fun game we like to play. She goes in her room and gets really quiet and when I go in to check on her there is always something new in the top part of her diaper pail. So I get to take it out and depending on what it is, I get to sanitize it. Luckily, at the moment, I do not have a trash bag in the pail, so there are no dirty diapers in there.
I really like this game, though. It's funny to see what she thinks belongs in the trash can, so I decided to start taking pictures of what she sees fit to belong there. For example: (Remember, she did this all by herself)
Her toy blocks

Her sippy cup
Some DVDs

My alarm clock

Her toy monkey

The dog's food dish
Even the dog

Okay, so I may have thrown that last one in, but I'm pretty sure Hayden would put Ella in there if she could.
Doesn't that look like fun? I think so too. Silly girl. I like her games.
Now this is a lovely shot of Hayden after she eats a white chocolate covered pretzel. It kind of looks like she is foaming at the mouth. Gross!

And since I didn't feel like wiping the white chocolate off her face until I made sure I had all the documentation of it, here is a cute video of some animal noises she does with a messy face.

Reminds me of the Good Old Days
What did we do today? We built a fort, that's what we did today!
It started out pretty simple with a couple couch cushions and some pillows thrown in, but that could only entertain for a second or two. That's when Carl made it into a work of art. Take a look:
Here is the Fort from the outside. That white fluffy thing was the scary bear that kept trying to eat us.

It came equipped with sleeping quarters and everything. Hayden called dibs.

Basically, it was the coolest fort ever. And somehow the scary bear found it's way inside.

It was fun to be kids again. I love playing with my little family and creating memories. Happy Sunday!

It's That POOP Again!
I never thought this day would come.
It all happened so fast and I didn't know what was going on because I have never had to deal with this before. Let me explain...
Hayden has had a rough couple of weeks with more teething and being sick, so she has been super grumpy and not eating well. Well, yesterday and today she has been feeling a lot better and starting to eat normal, so lunch was going pretty well, until she threw her spoon full of spaghetti and meat sauce at me. She even hit Ella with the food, as soon below (look closely at her shoulder)
But all throwing of food aside, she did pretty well and ate all her food, but she did manage to get a lot on herself as well. I then had the brilliant idea of putting her in the bath tub to clean her off and I thought it would be fun for her to just play in the tub for a bit while I sat in the bathroom with her and fiddled on the computer.
Not even two minutes into the fun, I hear the all too familiar sound of a little girl grunting with all her might and I turn around just in time to see POOP FLOATING AWAY FROM HAYDEN! It finally happened.
I experienced my first poop in the bath tub today.
So, I grab Hayden out of the tub and immediately start draining and throwing all her toys on the floor and in my haste to clean the tub, I left Hayden out to air dry. Big mistake. Big. HUGE! Once again, as I'm cleaning, I hear the all too familiar sound of grunting coming from my silly little girl and once again I turn around just in time to see Hayden POOPING IN THE HALLWAY!
Wait, it gets better.
I run and clean that poop up. In the meantime, Hayden is walking back and forth from the bathroom to the guest room and leaving a little trail of pee/bathwater everywhere she goes. I finally get the tub cleaned out and get it ready to finish her bath, so I go to get Hayden and guess what I found? Two more little turds in the guest room!
I don't know how she had that much poop, but she did. Sometimes I really wonder if Hayden does these things on purpose because she thinks it would be funny to see Mommy running around acting like a crazy person.
No, not my little angel, she would never do anything on purpose like poop in the tub and on the floor, or throw food at me, or slap me in the face....should I go on?
Anyway, I tried to look on the bright side and thought, hey, at least I saved a diaper, right?
I was basically exhausted after that, as seen below:

Don't I look good? No, don't answer that. I look like.....well....POOP! Not only had I just cleaned up a bunch of poop, but I have been doing this for the last two days:

Yes, that is me sneezing and it sucks. My allergies have been really bad and I want to rip my nose off my face.
All in all, it was a VERY funny experience today and one I'm sure every parent has been through and can laugh about.
Just so you know, the day went a lot smoother once I put her diaper back on.
The things we do for our kids.
Gotta love 'em!

When it's nice outside....
...get out of the house!
Hayden and I went on a fun adventure through the campus of BYU today. Why did we go on a fun adventure at BYU? To see Daddy, of course!
We started at the duck pond on the south side of campus and saw lots of ducks and turtles and Hayden liked pointing at them. Some of the turtles were even being naughty in public, but I won't put a picture of that.

Hayden even enjoyed chasing the ducks, but I think this particular duck liked it.

Then we made our trek up the long staircase and across campus.

In front of the library.

detoured to a water puddle.

In front of the ASB...almost there! And yes, Hayden is holding some flower petals that I didn't realize she had picked until it was too late. Oops.

And finally, we found Daddy!

What a fun little adventure. We walked back the same way and visited the ducks one last time before heading home. It's so nice to be able to get out of the house on a beautiful day and visit our favorite person. We love you, Daddy!
